I wrote this song in Seattle a few years ago and it was all but discarded directly after being written for sounding, in my mind atleast, too much like The Shins. I couldn’t figure out what to do with it or where to take it musically and this recent recording is just me experimenting again. Enjoy.
lyrics
She says my glass is half empty
But I'm hard-tied to agree
It's just leaky
And one day it'll break in two
And one day it'll crack in half
And I'll be a big joke
And everyone will laugh
At the man who's glass is half empty
The Graze is easily my favorite band in Seattle. Louis O'Callahan's writing style is right up my alley, it doesn't do him justice to say but he could be Kurt Cobain and Jeff Mangum's bastard child. The Way It Is
My Seattle friends Levi and Casey are two of the most talented musicians I know. Check out this wonderful album written and recorded in one weekend... The Way It Is
